The Lavaca County Courthouse of 1899 is one of the most originally intact landmarks in Texas. Through the Texas Historic Courthouse Preservation Program, the recent exterior and interior restoration project returned the courthouse to near original condition.
Restoration was completed on schedule in 14 months and within budget.
In a previous TWC Architects' project and through a similar grant process, the roof and clocktower were restored.
